We are pleased that you have decided to join our team at “Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge” a D/B/A of C9 JR LLC. Management intends for Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge to be a professional environment where our servers enjoy their time and make a very competitive compensation for their time!
First, all of our servers are contractors and will receive a 1099 the following January / February for the payments they receive during the year. We will upon request, provide proof of service letters in lieu of “Proof of Employment” requests for such things a mortgages or leases. Our standard week is Monday at 8:00 AM CST to Monday at 7:59 AM CST. Pay for each week will be on or before Thursday evening – if all timecards are in Square on a timely basis prior to the end of Monday, the pay may be earlier.
Secondly, non-conformance with our rules, responsibilities, or scheduled time(s) will result in documented reprimands in the form of e-mails or letters from management. Upon the third reprimand, we will discontinue your service with Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge – expect payment for hours worked and any outstanding tips on the next regularly scheduled pay cycle.
Next, your first day as a server with Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge will be in conjunction with either the Director of Operations or one of more senior servers. During the training period, the senior server will receive all tips, unless the senior server notifies management otherwise.

On your first day at Cloud 9 Hookah Lounge, you must fill out the following forms and submit these completed and signed forms to our Director of Administration via the above e-mail. Due to Texas regulations on tobacco sales and our policy with contractors, servers cannot continue without completion of these forms to a non-training day.
